BetterMan Partnership

BetterMan + Redemption Seminary

Turn Your Leadership into Graduate Credit

You are already doing meaningful kingdom work.

If you have completed BetterMan mentor training and led a BetterMan study, the learning that you gained by leading and disciplining this group may qualify for graduate-level credit at Redemption Seminary.

Through our partnership with BetterMan, mentors can apply for Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) in discipleship—reducing both the time and cost required to complete a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (MABS).

If you sense the Lord stirring you toward deeper theological study, this pathway allows you to build on what you are already doing.

Credit Opportunity for BetterMan Mentors

If you:

  • Have completed BetterMan mentor training

  • Successfully led a BetterMan study group

You may apply for 3 graduate credits in discipleship toward the MABS program at Redemption Seminary.

What this means for you:

  • Fewer courses to complete

  • Lower total tuition cost

  • Recognition of real ministry experience

  • A streamlined path toward a master’s degree

This is a great next step forward, building upon faithful service.

Why Redemption Is a Natural Fit for BetterMan Mentors

BetterMan emphasizes relational discipleship. So does Redemption.

Redemption Seminary was built specifically for adults who are:

  • Serving in ministry

  • Leading families

  • Working full-time

  • Engaged in church leadership

Structured theological education should strengthen your calling—not strain it.

Redemption’s model aligns closely with the relational, mentor-based approach you already practice in BetterMan:

  • 1:1 mentor conversations instead of exams

  • Workbook-based learning instead of long academic papers

  • Flexible pacing (100% online)

  • Designed to integrate with your existing Bible study rhythm

You are feeding others. These courses are designed to feed you.

Workbook Model

Courses use structured workbooks rather than lengthy research papers.

Included Resources

  • All required books included

  • Upon completing the MABS, students receive the Logos Redemption Library as a graduation gift

(Students receiving transfer credits (3) may opt to receive the library for $200 —paid at graduation. This is optional.)

Academic Eligibility

Because Redemption is a graduate institution:

  • An accredited undergraduate degree (in any field) is required for admission to the master’s program.

  • Non-graded courses (same content, no credit) are available without prerequisites.

How Long Does It Take?

Redemption is intentionally designed for steady, sustainable progress.

  • 45 minutes per day (a normal Bible study rhythm) allows consistent advancement.

  • An accelerated pace (about 15 hours per week) allows a course to be completed in approximately 8 weeks.

  • The full MABS program can be completed in about two years at a moderately fast pace.

  • Earning transfer credit reduces both time and cost.
