Educational Distinctives
Redemption Seminary’s educational model is distinctive because it prioritizes these four principles which help keep its programs grace-filled and student-centered.
Relational
Making Education Relational—The relationship theme of “God with us” is central to the story of Redemption. Our model enables and rewards professors to invest in and understand each student individually.
Relevant
Making Education Relevant—Education doesn’t have to be a simulation. We can learn better if those learning experiences have real-life and real-time impacts.
Resourced
Including Required Resources—All students should all have the same premium resources during their coursework and take them home when they graduate.
Responsible
Making Education Responsible—Affordable, Self-paced, Low-stress. Educational programs should match and support your budget, schedule, and spiritual well-being. You can finish in a reasonable amount of time without debt or having to take time away from their current vocation.
All of these principles are rooted in Christ’s redeeming love for the world. There is redemption for the world through Jesus’ sacrificial love for us, which we are called to mirror as we build one another up as a living sacrifice. Together we are bringing this type of redemption to our highest levels of education.
