History of the Redemption University Brand

The Redemption University public brand began in 2020 as the site for accessing Redemption Seminary’s graduate-level courses at www.Redemption.University. The domain was registered and put into use on 4/25/2019. Courses were developed that year for Redemption Seminary, and the first student began taking courses through its Redemption University site on 2/6/2020. This service continues to the present, delivering courses. Redemption Seminary has institutional accreditation through DEAC. This function and service have been uninterrupted since 2020, with over 300 students taking courses during this time.

Many states restrict the use of the term “university.” Redemption Seminary (which includes Redemption University) has approval or exemptions for enrolling students from all states. See the Higher Education Act 1992.
