Dr. Scott Olson
Dr. Scott Olson (D.Min., M.A.P.S., B.A.A.S.)
Dr. Olson earned a D.Min. in Missional Leadership from Multnomah Biblical Seminary, where he developed a robust Trinitarian theological framework for gifts that, when applied, supports the health of the church and its ministry and serves as a catalyst for her mission. He also earned a Master's in Pastoral Studies with an emphasis in Church Planting from Multnomah Biblical Seminary and a Bachelor's in Applied Arts and Sciences from the University of North Texas.
He’s had the privilege of planting/replanting five churches, shepherding three other churches, and serving as the Program Manager of My Father’s House family shelter in Portland, OR. He and his wife, Anna, have served in a missional context for more than 26 years.
Scott published his first book, Re-Imagining the Church, in 2017, and his second in 2020. He’s passionate about awakening kingdom dreams in people, pastoral mentorship/coaching, contextualized equipping, leadership development, and multiplying apprentices of Jesus.
His research interests include Trinitarian Theology, Missional Theology, Ecclesiology, and Cultural Engagement.
