Vincent Nkwambi (D.Min., MABT, Bsc (hons) )
Dr. Nkwambi currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa. He is married and has a teenage daughter. He completed his Doctor of ministry at Knox Theological Seminary where he majored in theological exegesis. His major project was on using the pastoral epistles to create sound church governance (in South Africa). He also completed his Master’s in Biblical and Theological studies, magna cum laude, at Knox Theological Seminary. Before embarking on theological studies, Vincent completed a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Actuarial Science and Mathematical Statistics at Witwatersrand University, South Africa.
Vincent has been in bi-vocational ministry for almost 20 years. He is passionate about seeing how a gospel transformed life affects all areas of our lives, particularly in our vocation. Working bivocationally, he held various senior management positions in the corporate world. Recently, he started a full-time venture as an entrepreneur and an inner-city missionary who focuses on those on the fringes in society, blue-collar laborers, the poor and homeless. His ministry concentrates on the vulnerable in communities through partnerships with churches that have a similar vision. He was an interim pastor in a reform congregation for five years, and he has planted a church. He has also worked with university students through a Christian network, whose goal was to connect to non-Christians by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and by collaborating with other affiliated groups to build a self-sustainable model of leaders that benefited the university as a whole and encouraged active participation in communities.
