Every Redemption Seminary course has required readings in each lesson. Students know exactly what they need to do for each lesson because the school’s LMS (Moodle) provides the step by step instructions for each lesson. When it comes to readings, students can find out exactly where they should start and stop reading in each book and resource.
There are many types of steps within each Moodle lesson. One step may be watching a lecture. Another one may be to answer questions in their course portfolio document. Another type of step is a required reading that relates to a video lecture.
Although the link in a video lecture step will open Logos Bible Software that segment video, it best NOT to use the hotlinks for Required Readings in the LMS.
The Logos link in Required Reading steps is merely for reference. If you use, it will open the reading in Logos, but it will NOT have start and stop reading tags.
Follow These Instructions To See the Start and Stop Reading Links
Instead of using the reading link in Moodle, look at the Explore section in the last lecture segment you watched in Logos and click on the reading link (in Logos) that matches the names of the article mentioned in your Moodle step. Note that the image below is from Logos Bible Software (not a browser with the Moodle links. After watching a lecture segment in Logos, leave the program open and merely consult the instructions in Moodle for what you should click on in Logos.
Only by clicking on a reading link in Logos will you see the start and stop reading links.
